Raíces Clatsop: Documentary Series
Raíces Clatsop originally began as an idea to create a magazine, and then a book that shines a spotlight on students, businesses, community organizations, and people dedicated to our community, education, cultural preservation, and political advocacy. Filled with gripping testimonies and inspirational stories, this book documents the vibrant and thriving Latino community on the Oregon coast.
This will be entirely bilingual in both Spanish and English. *Book cover is subject to change
Due to the ongoing fear that immigrant and undocumented communities are facing. To protect our community, I have decided it is best to postpone the release of these stories.
We are cognizant of the harm that releasing stories with such personal detail may bring. These stories will still be shared, simply reframed with increased protections to people’s identities.
